The Harms of Prostitution:
Voices from the Sex Trade
7pm sharp (doors open at 6pm)
Downstairs at Town Hall
1119 Eighth Avenue Seattle, WA 98101
Evidence suggests that people in the sex trade may be just as endangered by law enforcement and well meaning anti-trafficking organizations as they are by bad management and predators.
How do our laws effect people who are in the sex trade by choice, force, or circumstance?
How do laws addressing sex trafficking harm the people they’re mean to protect?
Join our panel of advocacy experts and people with lived experience, to explore these and other questions. Speakers include Ceyenne Doroshow, Elene Lam, Tobi Hill-Meyer, Emi Koyama, and Zachary Wagnild.
